Frequently asked questions

Endurance or race road bike: what is the difference?
An endurance road bike, such as the Giant Defy, Giant Contend or Liv Avail AR, has a taller front and a more upright position, so long rides are more comfortable. A race bike, such as the Giant TCR or the aero Giant Propel, puts you lower and longer for speed and sharp handling. For fitness riding or a first road bike, an endurance bike is usually the easier choice.

Aluminium or carbon road bike?
Aluminium frames, like the Giant Contend 3, cost less and are hard-wearing. Carbon frames, like the Giant Defy Advanced, TCR Advanced and Propel Advanced, are lighter and soak up more road buzz, and cost more.

Do you deliver road bikes outside Nairobi?
Yes. We deliver anywhere in Kenya, the same day for in-stock items, and also to Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea. The delivery charge depends on the bike and the destination, and we agree it with you when we confirm your order. Orders outside Kenya are dispatched after full payment, and the buyer settles any import duties their country charges.

How do I pay for a road bike?
In Kenya, in-stock items can be paid on delivery. Bikes ordered from Giant need a 50% deposit before import. Orders outside Kenya are paid in full before dispatch.
