Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 July 2026
These terms govern purchases from Giant Bicycles Kenya (Dar es Salaam Road, Nairobi, Kenya), whether made on giantbicycleskenya.com, by phone, or in-store. By placing an order you accept these terms.
1. About us
Giant Bicycles Kenya is a Nairobi-based bicycle retailer operated by Cycle Africa Bikes, East Africa’s leading Giant bicycles dealer. Visit us at Dar es Salaam Road, Nairobi, Kenya — Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
2. Prices and payment
- All prices are in Kenya Shillings (KES) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- We accept M-Pesa, major debit/credit cards, bank transfer, and cash in-store.
- We also offer lipa pole pole: pay in bits at your own pace and collect the bike once it is fully paid. There is no lender, no interest and no paperwork.
- An order is confirmed once payment (or an agreed deposit) is received. We will contact you promptly if an item is unavailable and offer an alternative or a full refund.
3. Delivery
We offer same-day delivery countrywide. Delivery is charged, not free. Pay on delivery is available in Nairobi only; upcountry orders require a KES 2,000 deposit before dispatch. Timelines and charges are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
4. Returns and refunds
Returns are accepted per our Returns & Refunds Policy — 7 days for unused items in original condition.
5. Warranty
- New bicycles carry a 6-month warranty, and we service what we sell.
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover normal wear (tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains), crash damage, misuse, or unauthorised modification.
- Every new bike we sell includes free assembly on purchase.
6. Product information
We work to keep specifications, images and stock status accurate. Minor variations (e.g. colourways, component substitutions by the manufacturer) can occur; material differences will be confirmed with you before dispatch.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Kenya). Cycling involves inherent risk — always use a properly fitted helmet and ensure the bike is serviced regularly.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
